Laser Skin Resurfacing
It used to be that laser skin resurfacing treatments required significant downtime because the harsh procedures stripped away the skin’s surface layer. Now, advanced laser technology can treat a range of age-related skin conditions with little downtime and great results. At Solé Medical Spa, fractional laser skin resurfacing treatments are so comfortable, quick, and effective, patients travel from Albany, Cordele, Valdosta, Moultrie, Douglas, and throughout South Georgia to Tifton for treatment by Dr. Richard Pierzchajlo.

How Does Laser Skin Resurfacing Work?
We offer various laser skin treatments for resurfacing and rejuvenating our patients’ skin, and each procedure works in a slightly different way. For example, some of our patients can benefit from a more aggressive laser skin resurfacing treatment; others’ needs are better addressed with less intensity.
One of the options Dr. Pierzchajlo uses is an ablative laser that penetrates the skin in microscopic columns, leaving surrounding tissue untouched. This technology is called fractional laser skin resurfacing. Fractional laser treatments produce excellent results with only a fraction of the downtime needed after traditional laser procedures.
Pixel RF Resurfacing
Radiofrequency (RF) treatments are not laser procedures but can produce similar skin resurfacing results. Dr. Pierzchajlo may recommend the Pixel RF for mild to deep resurfacing for patients who want to treat acne scars, stretch marks, wrinkles, and uneven texture. During this procedure, micro-plasma energy combined with RF technology helps boost collagen growth and improve the overall health, look, and feel of your skin.
ClearLift™ Resurfacing
We sometimes refer to this as our “lunchtime” resurfacing procedure because treatments usually take less than 30 minutes, and there is no downtime involved. Patients don’t experience discomfort during the procedure, which heats the skin deep beneath the surface. Because the outer skin remains undamaged, no numbing is needed before the treatment.
Who Can Benefit from Laser Skin Resurfacing?
Anyone who wants a more youthful complexion with fewer lines and wrinkles, and better overall skin quality, can benefit from laser skin resurfacing. Even though these treatments are typically associated with the face, patients can improve the appearance of their necks, chest, and other areas of the body. Laser skin resurfacing is an excellent solution for treating:
- Fine lines and wrinkles
- Enlarged pores
- Dark under-eye circles
- Acne scars and stretch marks
- Discoloration such as melasma or brown spots from sun exposure
