MEET THE DOCTOR
Rick Pierzchajlo M.D. is board certified in family medicine and has practiced medicine in South Georgia since 1981. He attended medical school and completed a Family Medicine Residency at the University of Alberta. As a current assistant clinical professor of medicine at Mercer University, he continues to develop clinical research experience, teaches medical students, residents and other doctors, and is published in topics such as GI endoscopy. He is also married and a father of 26 year old triplets and 9 year old twins!
Dr. Pierzchajlo’s work and dedication to medicine have earned him a variety of awards and recognition. He has been a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Practice since 1986. In 2003, he was given The President’s Award by the Georgia Academy of Family Physicians. He is also a member of the Tift County Medical Society and has previously been the Tift County delegate to the Medical Association of Georgia.
